It's Another Season

Let's see.... we have Conch Season (which closes on July 1st),

Conch ceviche and fritters are the best.

Then we have Hurricane Season which officially opens June 1st,

We have our first Tropical Depression 1 today.

Then there is Hicatee Turtle Season,

Cute little guys aren't they? That armour can weigh up to fifty pounds.

We have Wet Season and Rainy Season,

What is the difference between Wet and Rainy Season? I took this picture of the rain on September 8, 2008 at Maya Beach.

We have Dry Season

They should call it 'Dusty Season'.

Lobster Season, (opens June 15th, we have all been waiting for that),
