We were told that we probably wouldn't have been robbed if we left our dog home when we went out.  I dare anyone to make Buddy stay home if we are both out.  We leashed him to a concrete block and he chewed through the material on the leash.  He has chewed through ropes (the record is three minutes I think) and come down the side walk ahead of us.  We turn the corner and there he is waiting for us.  We chained him to a concrete block and he dragged the block half way to the side walk.  He just wants to be with us.

We were told we needed to get a bigger dog to guard our home when we stepped away from it.

Introducing Sam, the newest member of our family.  She is only five weeks old right now, but will grow up to be bigger than Buddy, and hopefully a whole lot meaner to strangers.

Will post updates on her as we can.

  1. Good looking puppy! Funny, in that we had a cat named Sam (for Samantha) and she was a girl also. Kinda like a "Boy named Sue". Hope she earns her keep!

I'm enjoying your story.. keep up the good work and I hope the bad boys give you a pass!

  2. Wow, he really is a cutie!! Someone called me about your puppy and said the posts on your porch are too far apart and puppy can fall through to the ground. This happens quite frequently, and I have had to personally splint and bandage a pup that had to go to BC because he fell off the porch.

Just and FYI....pups are cute, and we want to keep them that way. Good luck with yours...and remember, I am just delivering a message...not getting in your business.

    Take care....Pam
